Good Wednesday

It looks like we made it this far.
I'm sad and happy for Hellga, she got a better offer. She will be leaving us but I would too if I were in her shoes. She better stay in touch, it's like losing a part of our personality.
It's amazing how spending 40 hours a week with someone makes you feel such a part of them and they a part of you. Even though she works an hour away she is still part of our day all day long. We even email each other pictures so we remember what each other looks like or to show her the new office here.
In some ways this could be good for us because it shows to the Big H that there is better out there if we wanted it or if it fit our living situations but in most ways it's just sad and we will miss her so much. I wouldn't ever want her to pass it up though, she needs to take it and run with it and feel good about it, never look back except to say hello. "Hellooo back there." That's us frantically waving in your dust Hellga. If your name was really Hellga I would probably make up a nicname for you and call you by that. Sorry Hellga's of the world but it's just not pretty where I'm from. I would probably just drop the g and call you Hella.

I went to bed at a decent time last night and just lay there awake. Go figure huh. I went to play volleyball, that was fun, tonight is Karate, I'm suppose to get my next belt this week. Don't worry I can't hurt anyone I'm still in the very lower belts. I wish V would get her leg all healed and come back, at least we have her volleying again finally.
Sorry for the ramble.

Question:

Did you or did you not go to your high school proms? Why or why not?
(Answer in Voices in my head, you know I hear you)

No, I didn't. I was a tiny part rebel in an unrebel town. I also had an older boyfriend part of that time and he wouldn't go. I was shy too.

Yes, I did. I went to a ton of them. With all different guys and all different schools. It was mostly just with friends, until I met my true love as a senior, then we went to ton together. I guess it was the thing to do. Plus I loved to dress up and be a princess. I have saved a few of my dresses. I had a white one that we called my Cinderella gown! I was a girly girl back then.

We have made it this far! I am happy, happy for Hellga! I know for a fact she will keep in touch. You are the springboard to her branching out. She will keep the photos she printed and email and blog often. Hopefully it is good for you and the getting the Big Head to take better care of you. He is misguided in his thoughts of what taking care of employees entails!
