I say begin but really I mean that it has already begun.... The Left and Right sides of my brain have these tug-o-wars with my emotions and feelings. One such argument that they had last night was particularly gruesome:L: BBB is such a nice guy and oh so attentive.
R: They all start out that way you idiot!
L: But what if this one is different? I could really like him.
R: You could but is that really a great idea? Don't you remember how this usually goes down?
L: well sure there have been a few times when things didn't really go my way but that happens sometimes.
R: Shall I name names? How about TM hows that treating you? And what about Herman? Shall I go on there is a whole list of idiots that you thought might be really nice and they turn out to be jerks.
L:But I am not a quitter I have ultimate faith in the human race that I can find one nice one amongst all the mistakes.
R: If your not convinced, let's move on to all of BBB's faults.
L: there really isn't anything that totally drives me crazy.
R: Oh but what about his teeth? Are his teeth perfect?
L: His teeth are fine! Your really reaching aren't you R?
R: What about his job? Are you sure that you would be alright being with a guy in that line of work?
L: What difference does it make what line of work he is in when your in love?
R: Oh great the "L" word, what the hell are you thinking?
L: I didn't mean that I love him I was only saying that it is not really a factor when you come down to it. Relax R.
R: You know that I will show you some little quirky thing or some flaw that will drive you crazy about him, just give me time.
L:Take all the time you need I am staying open minded about this.......
R: (R stomps away in a huff and slams the door)

Newbie-I hear you on the drunken part! The last couple weekends have been non-stop parties. It's all a lot of fun, the only thing is that you know it can't go on this way forever. I have this fear of being a "Cougar"! (Cougar refers to an older woman, usually in her 30s-40s who sexually pursues younger men in their 20s or early 30s. Term used by TV series 30 Rock)-V
SH I do understand that men are not perfect.....it's just that the voices in my head really don't help the situation.-V
Nothing wrong with wanting a Toy Boy, that's for damn sure as mustard!
